Shipping and Delivery Policy

Q: What are the shipping charges in India?
A: We offer free shipping in India for all orders above INR 350. In case of remote destinations where our current logistics partners don't deliver we may charge you as per actuals.

Q: What are the shipping charges internationally?
A: For international orders, please refer to table below for applicable charges. Additional charges for weights above 750 gms will be displayed during the checkout process.

Q: How long will it take to receive the ordered products?
A: We attempt to process every order and ship within 24 hrs. Exact shipping time depends on the availability of certain products and will be communicated during the process of delivery.
For domestic orders (within India) it should take overall 3-7 days to get delivered.
For International orders post ordering it should take overall 5–7 days to get delivered (depending on your location)

Q: Do you ship back orders?
A: No. We aim to keep every item on our website in stock. If there is an item which you purchase and then we realize this item is not available, we will promptly inform you within 2 working days of your purchase and fully refund your money for the out of stock item.

Q: Will the complete shipment arrive together?
A: We reserve the right to make delivery of the goods by installments. If the goods are to be delivered in installments, each delivery will constitute a separate contract. You may not treat the contract (as a whole) as repudiated if we fail to deliver any one or more of the installments

Q: What will be the mode of delivery?
A: We process all deliveries through our partnership with Blue Dart, DHL and Fedex. We may also ship your purchases through India Post (Indian government) registered speed-post or any other reliable courier service deemed appropriate.

Q:How can we track the orders?
A: An email with your shipping and order information is sent to you after your goods have been shipped from our end. You can then track your parcel’s progress via MY ACCOUNT section. If you are unable to track any information regarding your package/ parcel, please send us an email at support@chikanbarn.com or call us at our customer care number.

Q: What about sales tax, octroi, customs, import tax, VAT etc.?
A: The prices mentioned are all inclusive and as provided on the website. However in case of any additional levies (duty and taxes), domestic or international, which we are not able to anticipate at this point owing to your shipping location, the same would have to be borne by the customer and paid to the courier company on delivery of the packages.

Q: Do you offer expedited or preferred date shipping?
A: We already provide priority shipping services however at this point we are unable to commit overnight delivery services or preferred date shipping through the ordering interface. For any such possibilities however please do write to us at support@chikanbarn.com. These shipping requirements would be treated on a case to case basis and evaluated accordingly.
